New Email Trove Proves Jackie Looked Up “Code” To Block Paul Wellenberger

She’s a bigger liar than we ever imagined…

We recently reported that Mayor Jackie Sikes REJECTED Paul Wellenberger’s application for the Historic Preservation Commission before trying to appoint her husband to the role. She claimed publicly that nobody else wanted the job! That was a lie!

But now we have even more disturbing proof that suggests this was NOT AN OVERSIGHT.

A new EMAIL TROVE has just been released showing that Fairfield Bay resident Jill Bailey AS WELL AS PAUL WELLENBERGER emailed Jackie on September 5th saying that Paul Wellenberger wanted the role. Jill Bailey even included Paul’s resume for her to view. Which she refused to accept. She then looked up the Fairfield Bay Municipal code required to ignore Paul’s application on a technicality. 

Jackie Sikes Lied To Us All

It all started on September 5th, when Jill Bailey sent an email to Fairfield Bay Treasurer Rose Owen and Mayor Jackie Sikes.

The email stated:

“Hello Jackie, Hello Rose, I have attached the resume for Paul Wellenberger. Could City Council review his approval to Fairfield Bay Historic Preservation Commission at the meeting Monday? Thanks.”

The next day, on September 6th, Jackie said that she did NOT want to proceed with accepting Paul Wellenberger’s application until after the City Council meeting was had in person.

She even researched a rule “Municipal” rule that would allow her not to accept Paul Wellenberger’s application. Because she never intended to allow Paul Wellenberger anywhere near the position:

“Were there any other applicants? To also confirm is this for the Commissioner position? Chapter 2.48 of the FFB Municipal code states that the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council appoints the members.”

PLEASE NOTE: Jackie Sikes would not have been researching Municipal codes to reject Paul Wellenberger’s application if she didn’t know about it.

We also have email showing that Paul Wellenberger told Jackie Sikes he wanted the position directly. The only reason this email matters is because it shows she was planning to reject Paul Wellenberger’s application using the Fairfield Bay Municipal code.

Jackie Lied To The Public On Camera

We have videos days later where Jackie Sikes publicly claimed that nobody wanted to apply to the Historic Preservation Commission.

Enough Is Enough

Mayor Jackie Sikes is plundering Fairfield Bay to appoint her own family members and friends to key positions.

She gave her husband the keys to the city. She used her position at the chamber to award her OWN 501c3 non-profit an award that involved Arkansas’ Attorney General.

Mayor Jackie Sikes has quietly taken control of access and entry to the Marina as she goes to war with the Community Club.

Mayor Jackie Sikes tried to sabotage the City Council in a plot involving her Chief Advisor Martin Bailey.

The list goes on and on.

If you care about this city and promoting decency, it’s time to sign the petition to remove Jackie Sikes as mayor of Fairfield Bay.

Let’s stop the madness once and for all.
