This is a problem.

Mayor Jackie Sikes is allegedly preventing businesses from coming to Fairfield Bay unless it helps one of her donors.

A food truck owner says Mayor Jackie Sikes’ office REFUSED to allow his food truck to set up anywhere near Fairfield Bay city limits — unless he sat up at Beaver Liquor.

Beaver Liquor is one of Jackie’s biggest allies.

Please note: Beaver Liquor is currently involved in a legal battle against the Fairfield Bay Community Club after their sewer was disconnected for allegedly not paying bills.

Jackie Sikes even personally took part in a protest calling for the overthrow of the Community Club. The owner is even a donor of hers!

Business Turned Away By Mayor Jackie

A local food truck owner tried to set up his food truck in Fairfield Bay during Memorial Day.

Not only was the food truck owner turned away, but he was told by Mayor Jackie Sikes’ office that the only way he was allowed to do business was if he set up outside of Beaver Liquor.

Eventually, the food truck owner decided to set up at the Fairfield Bay Marina instead, which is Community Club property.

This is unacceptable. Not only is Fairfield Bay losing business for no reason, but the Mayor seems to be only doing favors for people who are active supporters of hers.

Enough is enough.
